As already mentioned, this is a historically correct scenario during the Vietnam War.
Consequently, there are no weapons, equipment or vehicles that are younger than 1972!
Here are some facts:
- GPS – introduced by the US military around 1985
- NVG – night vision goggles were available at the beginning of the 90s. The only device used in the Vietnam War was the so-called „Starlight Scope“, which was more suitable for observation than aiming.
These are just a few examples, the list could be extended.
The goal and mission of the player is to fight the Viet Cong wherever possible.
Attention! The opposing AI is not designed as a moving target! She is a dynamic, fast and equal opponent!
Against this background, we ask all players who can not handle their own losses to avoid our server.
All others, we ask you to imagine the whole synonymous a bit (keyword Roleplay).
Definitely NOT the goal of gameplay is to accumulate riches and collect unnecessary fleets!
We are not in kindergarten where the motto is „Etch, I have more than you“ or „Mine is bigger than yours“!
After all, „our“ is anyway the „longest“ ….. after all, we are Admin.
Your Role: You awake on January 31, 1968 in a military base overrunned by the Viet Cong. From now on, you move behind the enemy lines. Get what you need to survive and try to find other surviving GIs.
This roughly explains the gameplay.
If MilSim Units are interested in this scenario, they can contact us, we will logistically support them within our current capabilities.
It should be remembered that we do not provide large equipment such as helicopters!
These are used only by our own pilots and they also decide if a single action is feasible!
Explanation: Helicopters do not just „spawn“, we have to be work hard for them. This may take several days!
One final word: we do NOT play a „simulation“ ….. we are at war!
Wie bereits erwähnt handelt es sich um ein historisch korrektes Szenario während des Vietnamkrieges.
Folgerichtig gibt es keine Waffen, Ausrüstung oder Fahrzeuge die jünger als 1972 sind!
Dazu einige Daten einzelner Fakten:
- GPS – vom US Militär etwa um 1985 eingeführt
